KBK multi-span covered crane with uprights

Product Introduction

The entire set of equipment adopts a self-supporting structure with ground-mounted steel columns and red high-strength steel rails laid out in a crisscross pattern. It can span over multiple CNC machine tools to form a covered rail network. One crane can serve the loading and unloading operations of the entire group of machine tools, eliminating the need to configure separate hoisting equipment for each machine tool.

Structural Composition

Support Column : High-strength steel structure, red warning paint, floor-mounted, supporting the longitudinal track.

Longitudinal Track Beam : Laid along the top of the column, the main beam travels along its longitudinal direction.

KBK Main Beam : Enclosed cold-formed steel track, standard section splicing, can be extended indefinitely.

Trolley : Built-in low-friction rollers drive the hoist to move laterally along the main beam.

Electric Hoist : A chain electric hoist, suspended below the trolley, responsible for vertical lifting.

End Beams and Connectors : High-strength bolts are used to ensure track alignment accuracy and overall rigidity.

Power Supply System : Powered by sliding contact line or flat cable, suitable for multiple spans and long distances.

Control System : Manual switch control, with options for remote control/dual-speed/frequency conversion.

Working Principle

The electric hoist vertically lifts and lowers the workpiece; the trolley moves the hoist laterally along the main beam; the main beam moves longitudinally along the longitudinal track at the top of the column. This dual horizontal and vertical movement creates a planar lifting range covering the entire work area, allowing flanges and discs to be precisely transferred from ground pallets to the clamping position of any machine tool. After processing, they are hoisted back to the material area or transferred to the next process. The entire process is completed by a single operator using a hand-held switch, without the need for a professional crane operator.

Core Advantages

One Machine Covers Multiple Machine Tools : Multi-span interconnected layout, one crane serves the entire group of machine tools, with high equipment utilization and lower investment.

Not Dependent on Factory Building Structure : The supporting columns are self-supporting and have no requirements for the factory building frame. They can be installed in old factories and rented workshops.

Lightweight and Labor-Saving : The low-friction roller design requires little pushing force when fully loaded, and a single person can easily push and position it. It is less labor-intensive than manual lifting and more flexible than a forklift.

Precise Alignment : Smooth lifting and travel; with dual-speed/frequency conversion, zero-impact alignment can be achieved, and clamping will not damage the workpiece.

Scalable as Production Line Grows : Standard modular splicing allows for the extension of tracks, increase of spans, and addition of workstations at any time, enabling modifications without interrupting production.

Safe and Reliable : The hoist is equipped with upper and lower limit switches, overload protection, and power-off braking; the end of the track is equipped with a stop and buffer.

Low Noise and Clean Operation : Low operating noise and no exhaust gas, suitable for long-term operation in indoor machine tool workshops.

Application Scenarios

Loading and unloading of CNC machine tools; hoisting of flanges/discs/rings; workpiece transfer between machining processes; material transfer at assembly line workstations; mold assembly, disassembly, and flipping; assembly of pump, valve, motor, and reducer components; equipment hoisting in maintenance workshops; warehousing loading, unloading, and stacking.
